الحسن بن أحمد بن محمد بن أحمد أبو محمد الزعفراني أصله من بغداد خال نجا بن أحمد العطار سمع عبد الوهاب بن الحسن الكلابي حكى ابن أخته أبو الحسن نجا بن أحمد عن وجوده في كتابه قرأت بخط أبي الحسن نجا بن أحمد وأنبأنيه أبو محمد بن الأكفاني عنه شفاها قال وجدت في كتاب خالي أبي محمد الحسن بن أحمد بن محمد الزعفراني البغدادي بخط أبيه أنا أبو الحسين عبد الوهاب بن الحسن بن الوليد بن راشد الكلابي المعدل قراءة عليه بدمشق في رجب من سنة إحدى وتسعين وثلاثمائة نا أبو العباس عبد الله بن أحمد بن عتاب المعروف بابن الزفتي فذكر حديثا ١٢٨٩ -
