إبراهيم بن أحمد بن إبراهيم بن محمد بن سليمان أبو إسحاق الموصلي الفقيه الحنفي (١) وأصله من غزنة وتولى أبوه قضاء الرها وتفقه هو على أبي الحسن علي بن الحسن البلخي الفقيه واستنابه في التدريس بمدرسة بصري ثم ولي التدريس بالمدرسة الصادرية (٢) ثم استنابه ابن خالي القاضي الزكي أبو الحسن ﵀ وكان قد سمع الحديث من البلخي وما أظنه روى شيئا وما عملته باعتقاده بأسا مات ودفن يوم الأربعاء ثاني عشر ذي الحجة سنة ستين وخمسمائة بجبل قاسيون شهدت الصلاة عليه ٣٥٣ -
