أحمد بن محمد أبو عمر الكلبي حكى عن أحمد بن أبي الحواري روى عنه أبو عبد الله بن منده أخبرنا أبو نصر محمد بن حمد بن عبد الله الكبريتي نا أحمد بن الفضل بن محمد الباطرقاني إملاء قال سمعت أبا عبد الله محمد بن إسحاق بن منده يقول سمعت أبا عمر أحمد بن محمد الكلبي بدمشق يقول سمعت أحمد بن أبي الحواري يقولمن مات على الإسلام والسنة تقي (١) نقي دخل الجنة وكان إذا جاءه قوم يسمعون منه مسألة سألهم إن كانوا من أهل السنة حدثهم وإلا منعهم والله أعلم ٢٤٤ -
