أحمد بن محمد بن طوق بن العسعس بن الحريش (٥) بن الوزير أبو عمرو اليعمري من أهل بيت أرانس (٦) حدث عن بعض الشيوخ كتب عنه أبو الحسين الرازي ذكر أبو الحسين الرازي فيما قراته بخط نجا بن أحمد وذكر أنه نقله من خط أبي الحسين في تسمية من كتب عنه في قرى دمشق جماعة منهم أبو عمرو أحمد بن محمد بن طوق هذا ونسبة وقال من أهل قرية يقال بها بيت أرانس (٧) ١٥٨ -
