أحمد بن محمد بن أحمد أبو الحسين البغدادي الزعفراني سكن (٢) دمشق وسمع بها أبا سلمان بن زبر حكى ابن ابنته نجا بن أحمد العطار عن وجوده في كتابه قرأت بخط أبي الحسن نجا بن أحمد وأنبأنيه أبو محمد بن الأكفاني شفاها عنه قال وجدت في كتاب جدي لأمي أبي الحسين أحمد بن محمد بن أحمد الزعفراني البغدادي بخط يده قال قرأت على أبي سليمان محمد بن عبد الله بن أحمد بن ربيعة بن سليمان بن خالد بن عبد الرحمن بن زبر فأقر به بدمشق في العشر الآخر من رجب سنة ثمان وستين وثلاثمائة نا ابن أبي داود فذكر حديثا ١٠١ -
