    ١٦٨٩ - عمر بن بحر الأسدي: لم أعرفه. "مختصر العلو" (١٩٨ رقم ٢٤٥). قال الدريني: ترجمه أبو الشيخ في "طبقات المحدثين بأصبهان" (٣/ ٦١٢ رقم ٥١٩) فقال: "أبو حفص عمر بن بحر الأسدي، قدم سنة ثمان وثمانين، يحدث عن هشام ودحيم وأحمد بن أبي الحواري وغيرهم. وكذا ترجمه أبو نعيم في "أخبار أصبهان" (١/ ٤١٧ - ط المعارف)، وابن عساكر في "تاريخ دمشق" (٤٣/ ٥٤٥)، والذهبي في "تاريخ الإِسلام" (٦/ ٧٨٦)، ولم يذكروا فيه جرحًا ولا تعديلًا، واللّه أعلم.
