    ٢٤٩٨ - عُبيد بن غَنَّام (¬١): ابن القاضي حفص بن غياث: الإمام، المحدث، الصادق، أبو محمد النخعي، الكوفي. قيل: اسمه عبد الله. حدث عن: أبي بكر بن أبي شيبة، ومحمد بن عبد الله بن نمير، وجبارة بن المغلس، وعلي بن حكيم الأودي، وأبي كريب، وعدة. حدث عنه: أبو العباس بن عقدة، ويزيد بن محمد بن إياس الموصلي، وأبو القاسم الطبراني، وأبو بكر عبيد الله بن يحيى الطلحي، وآخرون. وكان مكثرًا عن ابن أبي شيبة. مولده في سنة إحدى عشرة ومائتين، قاله ابن عقدة. ومات في نصف ربيع الآخر سنة سبع وتسعين ومائتين. وتآليف أبي نعيم مشحونة بحديث ابن غنام وهو ثقة.
