    نصر بن خُزَيْمَة (٠٠٠ - ١٢٢ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ٧٤٠ م) نصر بن خزيمة (أو جذيمة؟) العبسيّ: شجاع، من أنصار الإمام زيد بن علي. ثبت معه يوم خذله أهل الكوفة. وعاهد على أن يضرب بسيفه حتى يموت. وجعله زيد إلى جانبه في إحدى المعارك، فلما اشتد القتال، تصدى له فارس من عبس أيضا، كان في جيش الأمويين، اسمه" نائل بن فروة " - تقدمت ترجمته - فضربه نائل فقطع فخذه، وضربه نصر فقتله، ومات نصر من نزف دمه. وقتل زيد، فأخذ معه نصر، وصلبا في الكناسة (وهي محلة بالكوفة) مع آخرين (١) .
