    ٢٠٦٦ - محمد بن سعدان: لم أعرفه، ولعله محمد بن سعدان أبو جعفر البزار، حدث عن أبي جعفر النوفلي، وفيض بن وثيق وغيرهما، روى عنه أبو عبد الله الحكيمي - له ترجمة في "تاريخ بغداد" (٥/ ٣٢٥) - وقال: "مات سنة سبع وسبعين ومائتين"، ولم يذكر فيه جرحًا ولا تعديلًا. "الثمر المستطاب" (٢/ ٦٤٩). قال الدريني: مصدر الشيخ ﵀ هنا هو "صحيح ابن حبان "بواسطة "العمدة" (٢/ ٤٥٢ - ٤٥٣) للعيني، وصوابه كما في "الإِحسان" (٥/ ٥٢٤ رقم ٢١٥٠): "محمد بن معدان الحراني"، وهو من رجال "التهذيب"، قال فيه ابن حجر في "التقريب": "ثقة، من الثانية عشرة، مات سنة ستين، وقيل قبلها"، والحمد للّه رب العالمين.
