    ٣٥٧٦ - بشر بن الوليد الكندي. روى عن أبي يوسف القاضي كتبه وإملاءه. وروى عن شريك وحماد بن زيد ومالك بن أنس وصالح المري وغيرهم. وروى عن محمد ابن طلحة. وولي القضاء ببغداد في الجانبين جميعا. وكان يحدث ويفتي الناس ببغداد. وسعى به رجل فقال: إنه لا يقول القرآن مخلوق. فأمر به أمير المؤمنين أبو إسحاق أن يحبس في منزله. فحبس في منزله ووكل ببابه الشرط ونهى أن يفتي أحدا بشيء. فلما ولي جعفر بن أبي إسحاق الخلافة أمر بإطلاقه وأن يفتي الناس ويحدثهم. فبقي حتى كبرت سنه وتكلم بالوقف فأمسك أصحاب الحديث عنه وتركوه.
