١٠٧٣ - مُورِّق العجلي (¬٢): قال أبو زرعة: لم يسمع من أبي ذر شيئًا. قال العلائي: وقد روى عن عمر، فتكون روايته عنه مرسلة (¬٣). انتهى. قال المُراجع: ويعضد هذا القول أن مورق توفي بعد ١٠٠ هـ (الثقات لابن حبان ٥/ ٤٤٦) بينما توفي عمر في ٢٣ هـ وأبو ذر في ٣٢ هـ (تقريب التهذيب رقم ٤٨٨٨ و ٨٠٨٧ على التوالي).
