    ١٦٩٦ - الصباح بن محمد: [عن مرّة الهمداني، وعنه أبان بن إسحاق] ضعيفٌ، قال العقيليّ في "الضعفاء" (ق ٩٨/ ١): "في حديثه وهمٌ، ويرفع الموقوف". * قال المنذريُّ في "الترغيب" (٣: ٤٠٠): "مختلفٌ فيه". * أما ابنُ حبان فقد وقع في "الصباح بن محمد"، فقال في "المجروحين" (١/ ٣٧٧): "يروي عن الثقات الموضوعات". * وهذا تهويل من ابن حبان، فقد ترجمه ابن أبي حاتم (٢/ ١/ ٤٤١) ولم يذكر فيه جرحًا ولا تعديلًا، وذكر له البخاري في "الكبير" (٢/ ٢/ ٣١٣) حديثًا رفعه، وخالفه زييد فأوقفه على ابن مسعود. وكذلك فعك العقيليّ في ترجمته، فهذا يدلُّ على أن وهمه في رفع الموقوف، ومثل هذا يتقوى بغيره. الأربعون الصغرى/ ٦٤ - ٦٥ ح٢٧
