    ١٩١٣- حصين بن أم الحصين الأحمسية: قال ابن مندة: له رؤية «١» . وروى الطّبراني من طريق زهير بن معاوية، عن أبي إسحاق، عن يحيى بن الحصين، عن جدّته أم الحصين، قالت: رأيت رسول اللَّه ﷺ في حجة الوداع وهو على راحلته، وحصين في حجري. قال أبو نعيم: رواه جماعة عن أبي إسحاق، فلم يقولوا: وحصين في حجري. تفرّد بتسميته زهير بن معاوية. انتهى. وزعم أبو عمر أنه حصين بن ربيعة أبو أرطاة، وهو خطأ، فإن حصين بن ربيعة كان رسول جرير إلى النبيّ ﷺ بفتح ذي الخلصة، فكيف يكون في حجة الوداع صغيرا في حجر أمه؟ وقد رجح ان الأثير قول ابن عبد البر مستندا إلى تفرّد زهير بن معاوية بالزيادة. والصواب التفرقة بينهما.
