    عصام بن خالد، أبو إسحاق الحضرمي الحمصي. عن حريز بن عثمان، وصفوان بن عمرو، وحسان بن نوح، وأرطاة بن المنذر، وعبد الرحمن بن ثابت بن ثوبان، وجماعة. وعنه البخاري. وهو من كبار شيوخه، وأحمد بن حنبل، وحميد بن زنجويه، ومحمد بن عوف الطائي، ومحمد بن مسلم بن وارة، وآخرون. قال النسائي: ليس به بأس. وقال البخاري (¬٣): مات ما بين سنة إحدى عشرة إلى سنة خمس عشرة ومائتين (¬٤). ٢٧١ -
