    الحكم بن مروان (¬١): روى عنه أحمد وغيره. قال عباس عن ابن معين: ليس به بأس. وقال أبوحاتم: لا بأس به. وقال الحسين بن حبان: سألت ابن معين: أنكرتم على الحكم بن مروان شيئًا؟ فقال: ما أراه إلا صدوقًا. قلت: يحدِّث بحديث عن زهير، عن أبي الزبير، عن جابر أن النبي ﷺ كبر غداةَ عرفة إلى صلاة العصر من أيام التشريق. فقال: هذا باطل، ريح، شُبِّه له. وقال محمود بن غيلان: ضَرَب أحمد وابن معين وأبو خيثمة على اسمه وأسقطوه (¬٢). وذكره ابن حبان في «الثقات» (¬٣). ٣٢١ - [ص ١٥٣]
