محمد بن هاشم بن سعيد أبو عبد الله القرشي البعلبكي حدث بدمشق سنة ست وأربعين ومئتين حدث عن الوليد بن مسلم. بسنده إلى عائشة قالت: لما دخلت ابنة الجون على رسول الله صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فدنا منها قالت: أعوذ بالله منك؛ فقال رسول الله صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " عدت بعظيمٍ، الحقي بأهلك ". وحدث عن بقية بن الوليد، بسنده إلى أبي ذر، قال: قال رسول الله صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إن الله يحب الرجل له الجار السوء يؤذيه فيصبر على أذاه، ويحتسبه حتى يكفيه الله بحياةٍ أو بموتٍ ". توفي محمد بن هاشم ببعلبك سنة أربع وخمسين ومئتين، وولد سنة سبعٍ وستين ومئة.
