نَهشَل بنِ حَرِّي ? - ٤٥ هـ / ? - ٦٦٥ م نهشل بن حَرِّي بن ضمرة الدارمي. شاعر مخضرم، أدرك الجاهلية وعاش في الإسلام وكان من خير بيوت بني دارم أسلم ولم ير النبي ﷺ، وصحب علياً كرم الله وجهه في حروبه وكان معه في صفّين فقتل فيها أخ له اسمه مالك فرثاه بمراثٍ كثيرةٍ وبقي إلى أيام معاوية. قال الجمحي: نهشل بن حري شاعر شريف مشهور، وأبوه حري، شاعر مذكور، وجده ضمرة بن ضمرة شريف فارس شاعر بعيد الذكر كبير الأمر، وأبو ضمرة، ضمرة بن جابر، سيد ضخم الشرف بعيد الذكر، وأبو جابر، له ذكر وشهرة وشرف وأبوه قطن، له شرف وفعال وذكر في العرب.
