مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ أَبُو الْعَرَبِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ ثِقَةٌ مَأْمُونٌ، رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ لَهُ سَمَاعٌ مِنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَنْعُمٍ، وَمِنْ مَالِكٍ، وَابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ، وَحَيْوَةَ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ، وَغَيْرِهِمْ. قَالَ أَبُو الْعَرَبِ: حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ الصُّمَادِحِيِّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ، وَقَدْ سَمِعَ أَيْضًا مِنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، وَابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ بْنِ فَضَالَةَ، وَسُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ.
