العباس بن الوليد بن صبح أبو الفضل السلمي الخلال حدث عن الفريابي بسنده عن جابر قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: كل معروف صدقة. وحدث عن محمد بن عيسى بن سميع بسنده عن أبي هريرة قال: سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: ما من مولود إلا يمسه الشيطان حين يولد فيستهل صارخاً لمسه إلا مريم وابنها. ثم يقول أبو هريرة: اقرؤوا إن شئتم " وإني أعيذها بك وذريتها من الشيطان الرجيم ". توفي الخلال سنة ثمان وأربعين ومئتين.
