شعيب بن شعيب بن إسحاق أبو محمد القرشي توفي أبوه وهو حمل. فلما ولد سمي باسمه وكني بكنيته. حدث عن أبي المغيرة بسنده عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: " إذا سها أحدكم في صلاته فلا يدري أزاد أم نقص فليسجد سجدتين وهو جالس ". وحدث عن مروان بن محمد بسنده عن عائشة أن النبي ﷺ صلى العصر والشمس في حجرتها، لم يظهر الفيء من حجرتها مات شعيب بن شعيب بدمشق سنة أربع وستين ومئتين. وولد في سنة تسعين ومئة.
