    أبو عمران الجوني الحافظ آخر متأخر عن هذا. اسمه: موسى بن سهل بن عبد الحميد، بصري، سكن بغداد. روى عن: عبد الواحد بن غياث، ومحمد بن رمح، وهشام بن عمار، وهشام بن عبد الملك اليزني الحمصي، والربيع بن سليمان وغيرهم. وعنه: دعلج بن أحمد، وأبو بكر الإسماعيلي، وأبو القاسم الطبراني، وأبو بكر بن مقسم، وعلي بن عمر الحربي وغيرهم. قلت: هذا المتأخر من جوين بالتصغير، وقد يقال فيه الجوني تخفيفا، ولا معنى لذكره لتأخر عصره عن الأول جدا.
