٧٥٨٠- ليث بن جثّامة: الكناني الليثي، أخو الصعب بن جثّامة. تقدم نسبه في أخيه، قال المرزبانيّ في «معجم الشعراء» : مخضرم. وقرأت بخط العلامة رضي الدين الشاطبي في هامش الترجمة أنه قرأ في أنساب مصر ليحيى بن ثوبان اليشكري ما نصه: وولد جثّامة بن قيس صعبا وليثا ومحلّما، وأمهم فاختة بنت حرب، أخت أبي سفيان، شهدوا مع النبي ﵌ وقعة خيبر.
