٣٢٨٣ - عبد الرحمن بن أبي العاص الثقفي (¬٥). (فت). ذكره الطبري وأنه لما توجه المهاجر بن أبي أمية عن أمر أبي بكر الصديق ﵁ في قتال أهل الردة مر بمكة فاتبعه منها خالد بن أسيد (¬٦)، ومر بالطائف فاتبعه عبد الرحمن بن أبي العاصي هذا. أخو عثمان بن أبي العاصي مشهور بالصحبة، واستعمله على الطائف ... رسول الله ﷺ وأبو بكر ﵁ بعده ثم عمر ﵁ صدرا من خلافته، وخالد بن أسيد هذا هو أخو عتاب بن أسيد بن أبي العيص.
