١٣٣ - محمد بن عثمان البصروى نجم الدين ابن اخي القاضى صدر الدين الحنفى تفقه ودرس ثم تقدم عند الناصر لخدمته لما كان بالكرك فولاه نظر الخزانة بدمشق والحسبة ثم ولى الوزارة ثم ولى الامرة ولم يغير ملبوسه وهو امير طبلخاناة وذلك فى صفر سنة احدى عشرة ومات فى شعبان سنة ٧٢٣ (¬٢) هكذا نقلته من تاريخ الصفدى ثم رأيته اعتمد على نقله من سير النبلاء لشيخه الذهبى ورأيت حاشية بخط الشيخ صلاح الدين العلائى ان نجم الدين محمد هذا مات سنة ٧١٤ او نحوها وان الذى عاش الى سنة ٢٣ وولى الحسبة اخوه فخر الدين احمد *
