    بَكْر بْن يزيد مديني. حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عِصْمَةَ، حَدَّثَنا أَبُو طَالِبٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ سَأَلْتُ أَحْمَدَ بْنَ حَنْبَلٍ عَنْ بَكْر بْن يزيد يروي عَن أسامة بْن زيد روى عَنْهُ القعنبي؟ قَال: لاَ أعرفه. قَالَ الشَّيْخُ: وهذا الَّذِي قَالَ أَحْمَد بْن حنبل هُوَ كما قَالَ وبكر بْن يزيد لَيْسَ بالمعروف، ولاَ أَعْلَمُ يَرْوِي عَنْهُ غَيْرُ القعنبي، وَهو مجهول من أهل المدينة والقعنبي أصله من المدينة سكن البصرة ويروي عَن قوم من أهل المدينة غير معروفين لا يروي عنهم غيره
