أحمد بن حاتِم (٠٠٠ - ٢٣١ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ٨٤٦ م) أحمد بن حاتم الباهلي، أبو نصر: أديب، من أهل البصرة. روى عن الأصمعي كتبه كلها. له (أبيات المعاني) و (اشتقاق الأسماء - خ) في خزانة أسعد أفندي بالأستانة (٢٣٥٧ تاريخ) و (ما تلحن فيه العامة) و (الزرع والنخل) و (شرح ديوان ذي الرمة ط) مجلدان، و (الجراد) و (الشجر والنبات) وغيرذلك. توفي عن نيف و ٧٠ عاما (٢) .
