[٣٨٤٩] عبد الجبار بن العَلاء بن عبد الجبار، أبو بكر العَطَّار البَصْريّ، سكن مكة (¬١). روى عن: سفيان بن عيينة، ومحمد بن جعفر غُنْدَر، ومروان بن معاوية الفزاري، وأبي سعيد مولى بني هاشم. روى عنه: أبو حاتم الرازي. وقال: مكي صالح. وفي رواية: شيخ، والحسن بن محمد بن الصَّبَّاح الزَّعْفَراني، ويحيى بن محمد بن صاعد. سئل عنه أحمد بن حنبل، فقال: رأيته عند ابن عيينة حَسَن الأخذ. وقال السَّرَّاج: مات بمكة سنة أربعين ومئتين. روى له: مسلم، والترمذي، والنسائي.
