عبيد الله بن عمران التميمى: ذكره ابن حبان فى الثقات، وقال: يروى عن مجاهد. روى عنه شعبة بن الحجاج. وقال فى حديثه: حدثنى شيخ كخير الشيوخ يقال له: عبيد الله بن عمران القريعى. وقال فى رواية أخرى: عن عمران بن عبيد الله، أو عبيد الله بن عمران، رجل من بنى تميم. قلت: وروى عبيد الله بن عمران هذا عن عبيد الله بن شماس، عن عائشة. والقريعى بالقاف نسبة إلى قريع، بطن من بنى تميم. روى له أبو جعفر الطحاوى.
