شبة بن عقال بن صعصعة ابن ناجية بن عقال بن محمد بن سفيان بن مجاشع بن دارم بن حنظلة بن مالك ابن زيد مناة بن تميم بن مر بن طابخة، التميمي الدارمي البصري لجده صعصعة صحبة. حدث عن أبيه عن جده صعصعة قال: دخلت على رسول الله ﷺ فقلت: يا رسول الله، ربما فضلت الأنملة خبأتها للنائبة وابن السبيل فقال: رسول الله ﷺ: " أمك، أباك، أخاك أختك، أخاك: أدناك أدناك "وبه قال: قلت: يا رسول الله، أوصني قال: " املك ما بين لحييك ورجليك ". ومن ولد صعصعة بن ناجية الفرزدق.
