٧٤١ - أبو نهشل قال (٤): لم أعرفه. قلت: ترجم له البخاري في "الكنى" (٥)، وابن أبي حاتم (٦)، ولم يذكرا فيه جرحًا ولا تعديلًا. وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (٧)، وذكروا له روايته عن أبي وائل -وهو شيخه في هذا الحديث- ورواية المسعودي عنه؛ وهو الراوي عنه هنا. وقال يحيى بن معين -رواية الدوري (٨) -: وأبو نهشل الذي روى عنه المسعودي، ما روى عنه غيره. قلت: ونقل الحافظ في "تعجيل المنفعة" (٩) عن ابن خلفون رواية سلام بن مسكين عنه. وأورده الذهبي في "الميزان" (١٠)، وقال: لا يعرف، وتبعه الحافظ في "اللسان" (١١)، ولم يزد عليه شيئًا.
