    سعيد بن مسلمة بن هشام بن عبد الملك بن مروان الأموي روى عن الأعمش وعبد الملك بن أبي سليمان وإسماعيل بن أمية روى عنه الحكم بن موسى ودحيم سمعت أبي يقول ذلك. حدثنا عبد الرحمن قال قرئ على العباس بن محمد الدوري عن ( م ) يحيى بن معين أنه قال: كان سعيد بن مسلمة عنده كتاب عن منصور فقال له رجل سمعت من منصور هذا الكتاب؟ فقال حتى يجئ أبي فأساله. حدثنا عبد الرحمن أنا يعقوب بن إسحاق [الهروي - ] فيما كتب إلى نا عثمان ابن سعيد [الدارمي - ] قال سألت يحيى بن معين قلت: سعيد بن مسلمة الاموى؟ قال: ليس بشئ. حدثنا عبد الرحمن قال سألت أبي عن سعيد بن مسلمة هذا فقال: ليس بقوي، هو ضعيف الحديث، منكر الحديث.
