    ٧٦٨ - جعفر بن عبد الله بن أسلم: مولى عمر بن الخطاب ﵁، وابن أخي زيد بن أسلم، من أهل المدينة، يروي عن عمه زيد بن أسلم، وعنه: محمد بن اسحاق بن يسار، قاله ابن حبان في ثقاته، روى ابن اسحاق في المغازي عنه عن رجل من الأنصار قصة، وروى أيضا: عن عاصم بن محمد بن قتادة عن أبيه عن جده، كما في مسند قتادة بن النعمان، من مسند أحمد.
