    ٥٠١ - أيوب بن بشير العجليّ: ترجمه ابن أبي حاتم (١/ ١/ ٢٤٢) ولميذكر فيه جرحًا ولا تعديلًا، فهو مجهول الحال. * وقد صرح الذهبي بأنه مجهول في "الميزان" (١/ ٢٨٤) وفي "الضعفاء" وهو الصواب وإن ذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (٦/ ٥٨). * والغريب أن يقول الحافظ في "التقريب": "صدوق"! * وقال الهيثميُّ في "المجمع" (١/ ٢٠٩): "رجاله موثقون". فلعله يشير بهذا القول إلى ضعف التوثيق في أيوب، وإلا فالهيثمي يعتدُّ بتوثيق ابن حبان بخلاف المعروف عند المحققين. بذل الإحسان ١/ ٢٩٣؛ ونحوه في: النافلة ج ١/ ٨٤، الزهد/ ٣٦ ح ٤٠، الصمت / ١٢٨ح ١٨٦
