محمد بن عباد الهنائي، أبو عباد البصري. روى عن: علي بن المبارك الهنائي، وشعبة، ويونس بن أبي إسحاق، وحميد بن مهران الخياط، ومثنى بن موسى بن سلمة الهذلي، ومجاعة بن الزبير. وعنه: ابن سعد، وعبدة بن عبد الله الصفار، وزيد بن أخزم، وعلي بن نصر الجوهري، وأبو بدر عباد بن الوليد العنبري، ومحمد بن معمر البحراني، وغيرهم. قال أبو حاتم: صدوق. خلط صاحب الكمال ترجمته بترجمة محمد بن عباد بن آدم، والصواب التفريق، فإن الهنائي أقدم من ذلك. له عندهم حديث ابن عمر في الوعيد على التعلم لغير الله. خ ق - محمد بن أبي عباد، وهو ابن عبيد. يأتي. • خ د ق -
