عيسى بن معاوية إشبيلي، الضرير. أحد وجوه أهل إشبيلية ورجالاتهم ودهاتهم، مع المعرفة والعلم والنزاهة. وليَ القضاء بعهد المنصور. وكان يقول: منه جنة لو عوينت ببصر، لطمست الأعين. وكان من أصحاب ابن ذكوان. فلزم الانقباض وحسن الطريقة، الى أن مات ﵀.

عيسى بن معاوية (¬١) الإشبيلي الضرير، أحد وجوه أهل اشبيلية، ورجالاتهم، ودهاتهم. مع المعرفة، والفهم، والنزاهة؛ ولي القضاء بعهد المنصور [¬٤]، وكان يقول (فيه) [¬٥] حينئذ: لو أعجبت [¬٦] ببصر، لطمست الأعين؛ وكان من أصحاب ابن ذكوان، واستقضاه المظفر على كورتي شذونة والجزيرة؛ فعزل عند عزل المظفر لابن ذكوان، فلزم الانقباض وحسن الطريقة - إلى أن مات.
