    ١٦١- إسحاق أبو الغصن. كتب إلي مُحَمد بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بن بحر، حَدَّثَنا عَمْرو بن علي، حَدَّثَنا يَحْيى بحديث إسحاق أبي الغصن، ثم تركه بَعْدُ، سمعته يقول: حَدَّثَنا إسحاق أبو الغصن قال: بعت من رجل بغلا فخرج على رجله جرد، فجاء فخاصمني فارتفعنا إلى شريح، فقال للمشتري: بينتك أنه باعك، وهذا به. فقال: فاستحلفه فحلفني، فحلفت له أني بعته، وما هو به، فأجاز عليه البيع. سمعتُ ابن حماد يقول: قال البُخارِيّ: إسحاق أبو الغصن؛ خاصمت إلى شريح، يعني روى عنه يَحْيى ثم تركه. قال الشيخ: وإسحاق أبو الغصن هذا لا أعرف اسم أبيه، ولاَ أعرف له غير ما ذكرت.
