    ١١٣ - الحارث بن غسان قال (١): لم أعرفه. قلت: هو المزني (٢) البصري، ترجم له البخاري في "الكبير" (٣)، وروى له حديثًا منكرًا، وقال أبو حاتم الرازي (٤): شيخ مجهول. وترجم له العقيلي في "ضعفائه" (٥)، وذكر له حديثًا عن ابن جريج -شيخه في هذا الحديث- وقال بعد أن ذكر له حديثين: ولا يتابع عليهما جميعًا، وقد حَدَّث بمناكير. وأورده ابن حبان في "الثقات" (٦)، وتناوله الحافظان: الذهبي في "الميزان" (٧)، وابن حجر في "اللسان" (٨).
