[ميزان الاعتدال (١/ ٢٩٢)]. • بسطام بن سُويد. لا يُدْرَى من هو، انتهى. ذكره ابن حبان في «الثقات» وقال: روى عنه عبد الرحمن بن مهدي، انتهى. [نثل الهميان ص ٩٤)]. • بسطام بن سويد. عن إبراهم النخعي. وعنه عُبَيد بن إسحاق العطار. لا يدرى من هو، انتهى. قال فيه ابن أبي حاتم: البرجمي أبو المعذل وقال: سألت أبي عنه فقال: لا أعرفه. وذَكَره ابن حِبَّان في «الثقات» وأفاد أن عبد الرحمن بن مهدي روى عنه.
