    ٥٢ - سَعْدُ بنُ خَيْثَمَةَ بنِ الحَارِثِ الأَنْصَارِيُّ الأَوْسِيُّ * ابْنِ مَالِكِ بنِ كَعْبِ بنِ النَّحَّاطِ بنِ كَعْبِ بنِ حَارِثَةَ بنِ غَنْمِ بنِ السَّلْمِ، أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الأَنْصَارِيُّ، الأَوْسِيُّ، البَدْرِيُّ، النَّقِيْبُ، أَخُو أَبِي ضَيَّاحٍ (١) النُّعْمَانِ بنِ ثَابِتٍ لأُمِّهِ. انْقَرَضَ عَقِبُهُ سَنَةَ مَائتَيْنِ. وَكَانَ ابْنُ الكَلْبِيِّ يُخَالِفُ فِي النَّحَّاطِ، وَيَجْعَلُهُ الحَنَّاطَ بنَ كَعْبٍ. آخَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بنِ عَبْدِ الأَسَدِ. قَالُوا: وَكَانَ أَحَدَ النُّقَبَاءِ الاثْنَيْ عَشَرَ. وَلَمَّا نَدَبَ النَّبِيُّ (٢) ﷺ المُسْلِمِيْنَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ، فَأَسْرَعُوا، قَالَ خَيْثَمَةُ لابْنِهِ سَعْدٍ: آثِرْنِي بِالخُرُوْجِ، وَأَقِمْ مَعَ نِسَائِكَ. فَأَبَى، وَقَالَ: لَوْ كَانَ غَيْرَ الجَنَّةِ آثَرْتُكَ بِهِ. فَاقْتَرَعَا، فَخَرَجَ سَهْمُ سَعْدٍ، فَخَرَجَ، وَاسْتُشْهِدَ بِبَدْرٍ، وَاسْتُشْهِدَ أَبُوْهُ خَيْثَمَةُ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ.
