[١٤٦٣] عبدُ اللهِ بنُ جُبَيرِ بن النُّعمانِ بن أُمَيَّةَ بن امرئٍ القيسِ - وامرؤُ القَيسِ اسمُه البَرْكُ - بن ثَعْلَبَةَ بن عمرِو بن عوفٍ الأنصاريُّ (¬٥)، شهِد العقبةَ، ثُمَّ شهِد بدرًا، وقُتِل يومَ أُحُدٍ شهيدًا، وكان يومَئِذٍ أميرًاعلى الرُّماةِ، لا أعلمُ له روايةً عن النبيِّ ﷺ، هو أخو خَوَّاتِ بن جُبَيرٍ بن النُّعمانِ لأبيه وأُمِّه.— · 1 entry
عبد الله بن جبير بن النعمان، صاحب الرماة يوم أحد. يكنى أبا المنذر. استشهد يومئذ في ثلاثين رجلا. وقد شهد بدرا. وهو أسن من أخيه خوات ابن جبير، صاحب ذات النحيين (¬٢). ومات خوات بالمدينة سنة أربعين، وهو ابن أربع وسبعين سنة. وكنية خوات أبو صالح، ويقال: أبو عبد الله. وأبو صالح أثبت. وكان يخضب بالحناء والكتم (¬٣). وكان ربعة من الرجال.
