مهدي بن عبد الرحمن بن عبيدة بن حاضر الدمشقي، ويقال: مهند، ويقال: منذر. عن: عمته أم الدرداء عن أبي الدرداء: سجدت مع رسول الله ﵌ إحدى عشرة سجدة ليس فيها من المفصل شيء. قاله ابن ماجه: عن الذهلي عن سليمان بن عبد الرحمن عن عثمان بن فائد، عن عاصم بن رجاء بن حيوة، عن مهدي. وتابعه محمد بن يحيى بن سهل المطرز عن الذهلي. وكذا قال عثمان بن خرزاذ عن سليمان، لكن لم يذكر عبيدة في النسب. وقال العقيلي: مهند بن عبد الرحمن عن أم الدرداء حديثه غير محفوظ ولا يعرف إلا بهذا الإسناد. ثم ساق له من حديث عاصم أيضا عنه عن أم الدرداء عن أبي الدرداء مرفوعا: الخال وارث من لا وارث له. • ع -
