١١٢٣ - عبد الله بن بشير بن عقربة الجهني: لم أعرفه. "الصحيحة" (٧/ ٢٥٦). قال الدريني: هو والد عقبة بن عبد الله، ولم يذكره الشيخ ﵀ لأن في الإسناد عنده: (عقبة بن عقبة بن عبد الله بن بشير بن عقربة، عن أبيه، عن جده عبد الله بن بشير … ) ثم قال الشيخ ﵀: "من دون بشير، لم أعرفهم". وعند تصويب الإسناد وحذف (عقبة بن)، فيكون والد عقبة هو (عبد الله). وعبد الله هذا ترجمه ابن حبان في "الثقات" (٥/ ١٩) وقال: "من أهل بيت المقدس، يروي عن أبيه، روى عنه الشاميون، وقد قيل لأبيه بشر بن عقربة".
