فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ مُحَمَّدٍ - فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ مُحَمَّدٍ امرأة عبد الله بن أبي بكر. أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ صَاحِبَتِهِ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ. وَكَانَتْ فِي حِجْرِ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ. قَالَتْ: أَرْسَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ إِلَى عَمْرَةَ بِدَرَجٍ فِيهِ كُرْسُفَةُ قُطْنٍ فِيهَا كَالصُّفْرَةِ تَسْأَلُهَا هَلْ تَرَى إذا لَمْ تَرَ الْمَرْأَةُ مِنَ الْحَيْضَةِ إِلا هَذَا أَنْ قَدْ طَهُرَتْ؟ فَقَالَتْ: لا حَتَّى تَرَى البياض خالصا.

فاطمة بنت محمد هى فاطمة بنت محمد. وُلِدت بمكة قبل البعثة بخمس سنوات، وهى صغرى بنات النبى ﷺ، وأمها السيدة خديجة بنت خويلد رضى الله عنها. تزوجت على بن أبى طالب، رضى الله عنه، بعد غزوة أحد، وهى فى الثامنة عشرة من عمرها، فولدت له الحسن والحسين وأم كلثوم وزينب، وانقطع نسل رسول الله (إلا منها. وكانت فاطمة من أحب الناس إلى رسول الله ﷺ، وقال عنها: إنها سيدة نساء العالمين. وتُوفِّيت بعد النبى ﷺ بستة أشهر.*
