▸ expand full passage (660 chars)أبو جهيم بن الحارث بن الصمة بن عمرو بن عتيك بن عمرو بن مبذول بن عامر بن مالك بن النجار الأنصاري. وقيل في نسبه غير ذلك، وهو ابن أخت أبي بن كعب، قيل: اسمه عبد الله. وقال أبو حاتم يقال: أبو جهم بن الحارث بن الصمة، ويقال: إنه الحارث بن الصمة. روى عن النبي ﵌. وعنه: بسر بن سعيد الحضرمي، وأخوه مسلم بن سعيد، وعمير مولى ابن عباس، وعبد الله بن يسار مولى ميمونة. قلت: وصحح أبو حاتم كون الحارث اسم أبيه لا اسمه. وقال ابن أبي حاتم: عبد الله بن جهم أبو جهيم فرق بينه وبين ابن الصمة. وفي أسد الغابة عن الاستيعاب والمعرفة: عبد الله بن جهيم بن الحارث بن الصمة، فذكره، جعل الحارث جده، وهكذا قاله ابن منده، وكأنه أراد أن يجمع الأقوال المختلفة ومع ذلك فما سلم، والله تعالى أعلم.
