    حكيم بن محمد بن عبد الله بن قيس بن مخرمة بن المطلب المطلبي المدني. روى عن: أبيه، ونافع مولى ابن عمر، وسعيد المقبري. وعنه: جعفر بن ربيعة، وعبد الله بن لهيعة، وعلي بن عبد الرحمن بن عثمان الحجازي، ومنصور بن سلمة الهذلي. ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات. قلت: لم ينسبه ابن حبان إلا إلى أبيه فقط. وكذا صنع البخاري في تاريخه ثم أعاد ذكر حكيم بن محمد بن قيس بن مخرمة، فالظاهر أنه هو. وقال ابن أبي حاتم: حكيم بن محمد مدني، روى عن المقبري، وعنه: علي بن عبد الرحمن. سمعت أبي يقول ذلك، ويقول: هو مجهول.
