    ٩٩١- ثابت بن قيس الأنصاريّ. وقع ذكره في حديث جابر. وذكر أبو داود أن راويه أخطأ فيه، أخرج أبو داود وإسماعيل القاضي في «أحكامه» ، وأبو مسلم الكجّيّ في السّنن من طريق بشر بن المفضّل، عن ابن عقيل، عن جابر، قال: خرجنا مع النبيّ ﷺ حتى جئنا امرأة من الأنصار، فجاءت بابنتين، فقالت: يا رسول اللَّه، هاتان بنتا ثابت بن قيس قتل معك يوم أحد ... الحديث. قال أبو داود: أخطأ فيه، والصّواب سعد بن الربيع. ثم ساقه من طريق ابن وهب، عن داود بن قيس، وغيره عن ابن عقيل، قال: كذا قال عبيد اللَّه بن عمرو، عن ابن عقيل. وهو الصّواب. قلت: لولا اتحاد مخرج الحديث لجاز أن تتعدّد القصة.
