٣٤٢ - خلاد بن قيس بن النعمان بن سنان بن عبيد بن عدي بن غنم بن كعب بن سلمة. وأمه أدام بنت القين بن كعب بن سواد من بني سلمة. ذكر عبد الله بن محمد بن عمارة الأنصاري أنه شهد بدرا مع أخيه خالد بن قيس بن النعمان بن سنان بن عبيد. ولم يذكر ذلك محمد بن إسحاق وموسى بن عقبة وأبو معشر ومحمد بن عمر فيمن شهد عندهم بدرا. قال: ولا أظن ذلك بثبت لأن هؤلاء أعلم بالسيرة والمغازي من غيرهم. ولا أظن ما روى عبد الله بن محمد بن عمارة بثبت. ولخلاد بن قيس إسلام قديم.
