خير بن نُعَيم (٠٠٠ - ١٣٧ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ٧٥٤ م) خير بن نعيم بن مرة بن كريب الحضرميّ المصري: قاض. من رجال الحديث، والفقهاء. ولي القضاء ببرقة ومصر، وكانت ولايته بمصر سنة ١٢٠ هـ وأضيفت اليه (القصص) وصرف سنة ١٢٧ فجعل كاتبا على الرسائل وأعيد إلى القضاء سنة ١٣٣ وكان يحسن اللغة القبطية، ويقضي بين المسلمين في المسجد، ويجلس على الباب بعد العصر، للقضاء بين النصارى. واعتزل سنة ١٣٥ هـ فدعي ثانية، فأبى (١) . الخير آبادي = محمّد فضل الحق ابن خَيْرَات = أحمد بن محمد ١١٥٤ ابن خَيْرَات = محمد بن أحمد ١١٨٤ ابن خَيْرَات = أحمد بن محمد ١١٩٩ ابن خَيْرَان = أحمد بن علي ٤٣١
