    رِحْلَتُهُ إِلَى إِقْلِيْم طَبْرِسْتَان: قَالَ يَاقُوت: طَبَرِسْتَان: بِفَتْحِ أَوَّلِهِ وَثَانِيْهِ، وَكَسْر الرَّاء، بُلْدَانٌ وَاسِعَة كَثِيْرَةٌ، يَشْمَلُهَا هَذَا الاسْم، وَمِنْ أَعْيَانِ بُلْدَانِهَا: دِهِسْتَان، وَ"جُرْجَان"، وَ"اسْتِرَابَاذ"، وَ"آمُل" (٤). وَتَقَعُ اليَوَم فِي شَمَالِ إِيْرَان. وَمنَ مُدُنِهَا الَّتِي جَاءَ التَّصْرِيْح بِدُخُوْلِهِ إِلَيْهَا:"
