    ٦٥٨١ - أبو نحيلة البجلي (¬٧) بالحاء المهملة. (ند ط بر (¬٨) نع).وقيل بالخاء المعجمة، والأول أصح. روى عنه أبو وائل شقيق بن سلمة، يعد في الكوفيين. ابن منده: أنا الأصم نا هارون بن سليمان نا ابن مهدي عن سفيان عن منصور عن أبي وائل أن رجلا من أصحاب النبي ﷺ يُكنى أبا نحيلة خرج غازيا فمر بحجر فقال: اللهم انقصني من الوجع ولا تنقصني من الأجر. واجعلني من المقربين واجعل أمي من الحور العين. رواه عبد العزيز بن أبان وغيره عن الثوري عن الأعمش عن أبي وائل نحوه. قلت: ولأبي نحيلة اللهبي رواية عن جرير البجلي. وقال علي بن المديني: لأبي نحيلة صحبة، وقد قيل: لا صحبة له، والله أعلم.
